Testimonials
Larah has been absolutely amazing with our baby son Rory! We were fortunate to have her as a part time nanny with our daughter Basil two years ago, and I'm so grateful that she was available to be here for Rory. Larah is nicknamed the baby whisperer in our household because she is so good! She's great with all kids, her demeanor is always warm and kind, she is so comforting to Rory whenever he is fussy or needs cuddling. My husband and I trust her implicitly with both our kids and consider her part of our family. She's always on time, if not, a little early, always considerate of our house and space and she does little extra things around the house however she can. Larah is a great person, super personable and thoughtful. She communicates really well with us, and is always checking in to make sure we're on the same page about sleeping and feeding techniques for Rory. If anything changes with him, she makes sure I know as soon as possible and is always partnering with me to figure out how to help him sleep better and be comfortable. I cannot imagine my life without her, and I'm so glad she is doing this work for my family and others!

“Larah was an amazing night doula for our newborn! She came in with no judgement, just open to helping with whatever we needed. She was so caring and tentative with our little girl and was able to answer any questions we had as first time parents. She gave us peace of mind and we were able to trust that our little one was in good hands. We would highly recommend working with Larah!”

I cannot recommend Larah Pearson's night doula services highly enough. Larah was an absolute lifesaver for our family during a crucial time postpartum. From the moment she stepped into our home, her warmth, knowledge, and reliability was evident.
Over the span of four months, Larah provided exceptional care to our newborn daughter, allowing us to get the rest we so desperately needed. As a mother recovering from childbirth and juggling the needs of a toddler, having Larah's support was invaluable. She not only ensured our newborn was well taken care of but also provided reassurance and guidance for us as parents.
Larah's expertise and dedication were evident in every interaction. Her friendly demeanor put us at ease, and her extensive knowledge of infant care gave us confidence in her abilities. Knowing that Larah was there to handle nighttime feedings and comforting our baby allowed us to rest peacefully, knowing our daughter was in the best hands.
Thanks to Larah, we were able to prioritize our own health and well-being, which ultimately made us better parents to both our newborn and our toddler. Her assistance was not just a luxury but a necessity for our family's well-being.
If you're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and knowledgeable night doula, look no further than Larah Pearson. We are immensely grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her services to any family in need.
Thank you, Larah, for everything you've done for us!
Sincerely, Ashley McKinney Portland, OR 2023

Larah was a dream to have help us transition into a new baby. We tried to do it without her for a few weeks and finally threw in the towel. I was so nervous to have someone in my home, taking care of my new baby while I was asleep, but Larah made me feel at ease. I have recommended her to so many of my friends who are starting to think about having children as she was a lifesaver and the best money I’ve spent on this baby. Larah was always on time, did light tasks around the house and provided sanity when we needed it the most. It was so hard to stop having her help us that I extended her longer than originally planned

“Larah's support in the postpartum period was so important to our mental health and wellbeing! She was attentive to and cared well for our little one, and we were actually able to get some deeply needed rest, trusting that he was in safe hands. She is kind and communicative, and if we were to have another baby we wouldn't hesitate to engage her help! Thank you so much Larah!"

Larah was great -- she was our postpartum night doula for the first few months of our son's life. Her main duties were caring for our son (from about 1 week old to almost 2 months old) a couple times a week during the night hours. The usual schedule was 10pm to 7am. She fed him, changed him, put him to sleep, soothed him and anything else needed to keep a newborn baby happy.
The first thing I noticed about Larah was how responsive she was. She communicated promptly and clearly, and as a new parent, I really appreciated that. I also appreciated her level of flexibility; she was often able to stay late, change care dates, and help with additional household needs like washing baby bottles.
You can also tell that she LOVES babies. I felt confident leaving her with my son, feeling assured that he was in experienced and loving hands. Every time she came to our house (after not seeing him for a week), she marveled at how he had changed in the last week. It felt like she truly wanted to be there and help us, and care for him (and for us, the parents!) This was invaluable. As a postpartum mom, it is helpful to feel nurturing energy around you, particularly if you are experiencing hardships on your journey.
I would highly recommend Larah, and hope to work with her more in the future in the case of sleep regressions and other challenges that may come our way.
